My favorite tofu soup spot in Koreatown. I absolutely loved the black soy bean tofu as it seemed to have a silkier texture than regular tofu. The side were also super delicious, with the housemade kimchi being the most notable here. There is easy parking in the back in a small lot and service was quick and friendly.

This was by far the best hot stone Bibinbap I've had. I loved the large flat stone plate they used that seems to allow for greater surface area to get the crispy rice than the traditional hot stone bowls. Also had the Kalbi and seafood tofu soup. Everything tasted good but Kalbi was a bit undercooked and needed a bit longer marinade.

We got here around 9PM on a Saturday and it was perfect after a long day at Universal! There is a small parking lot behind the store, but it was filled when we got there so we had to find street parking (which was easy!). It was pretty crowded when we entered, but we got a table right away. The workers were very friendly and attentive! We got 2 tofu soups and the spicy marinated crabs. We asked for purple rice but sadly they were out at this time of night! But both the soup and crabs were soo good and flavorful!! Friendly warning the crabs were pretty spicy, so order with precaution if you cannot handle spicy food (like my partner haha). I would love to visit again if I am ever in the area!

Selfishly, I don't want to write this review because I'd prefer to keep this place a secret! However, I gotta give my fellow Yelpers what they want. Let me just say this is probably the best Jjigae and bon chon I've found in LA. Woah. I just said it. Here comes the crowds! All good! I love seeing independent businesses thrive! Seriously. The service. The bon chon. The Jjigae are unmatched. Oh, and yes the chicken we got was juicy and had a nice BBQ flavor so what I'm saying everything about this place is great! It's easy to miss. The building is pretty non-descript but you'll be mind blown at what awaits your tummy!
